Crosby later apologised to anyone who was offended by his comments, but Laws thought the supporters who made the criticism were out of order.
He told BBC Radio Humberside: "One or two spectators had a go at Andy for not doing things quicker, and that disappoints me.
"For goodness sake, we're joint top - and yet a player comes off the park, very unhappy that he's had some verbal abuse.
"I'm not talking about 'come on Crosby', it was slanderous and that is not acceptable."
