"We knew we had to stop Yeovil playing and we did a good job on them. I don't think they had a shot in the first half."

He said: "Although we didn't create much in the first-half, I was proud of the way my players kept battling and we were out of luck when Adam Lockwood had a header which the keeper turned onto a post.
"We lost our goalkeeper Chris Weale ,who was injured in the incident that brought Scunthorpe's goal. It was a knee injury and will keep him out for the season."
