It moved United up to third in the table, and they now boast the best goal difference in the division.
With the match being live on Sky Sports, Keogh and Sharp will now be treated to even more speculation linking them with moves to a higher division.
But Laws insists selling either of the pair will not be considered by the club.
He said: ''People will say that a club like ours is desperate for money and they might get these players cheap. But my message is: 'You won't, they're not for sale'.
"They will eventually go because they are good enough, but it will have to be the right time for them and for us."
Saturday's result was all the more remarkable given that Forest had conceded just six goals in their opening 12 league games of the season.
But despite getting one over a club where he enjoyed great success as a player, Laws insists there is still a lot of hard work to be done.
He added: "It's pleasing to come to a ground like this and beat the league leaders so convincingly.
"But I predicted at the beginning of the season that Forest would go up, and I'm not going to changce my mind.
"I have to keep the players' feet on the floor, because if we get carried away we will be brought down to earth."
Forest boss Colin Calderwood admitted: "Scunthorpe thoroughly deserved their win, and hopefully we have put all our bad performances into one basket.
"It's been a humbling experience for us. It's not going to be nice looking at the scoreline in the Sunday papers, but we have a good group of players and they will recover and come back to win games.
"We are a lot better than we have shown, but we will keep it all in perspective and we are still top of the table."
