Laws said: "It was a magnificent achievement by the players, over the two games I think we definately shaded it.
"And the supporters - there must have been about three thousand, maybe more, they cheered the lads on. They really appreciated it tonight.
"There was a lot of huff and puff and a lot of tackles going in, I thought Terry Barwick was excellent."
He also insisted that the Iron have every chance of pulling off another upset when they travel to Barnsley in the Third Round.
He added: "Why couldn't we go there and win? The pressure is on them and we're the underdogs.
"They players are confident, no doubt about that"
Tonight's result stretches the club's unbeaten run to 14 games, but they face their sternest test yet when they travel to meet Yeovil Town on Saturday - the Glovers have won eight of their ten games at Huish Park this season.
