Laws told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "It's great to be back in training again and thankfully for the players the weather hasn't been scorching hot.
"It takes a lot out of the players when it's like that so thankfully we can put a lot in them instead.
"Everyone has come back in mint condition and their attitude and application has been brilliant.
"The new lads have settled in very nicely since meeting the rest of the team and they look like they've been here for years already."
