Laws said: "We defended superbly well and kept another clean sheet, and a couple of saves from Paul Musselwhite were key features of the game.
"We are not going to get carried away, but a third round place and the financial aspect is vital. We'd like another home draw.
"I was pleased for Lee Ridley and his opening goal. He's a local lad and doing well, and Matt Sparrow, scorer of the second, has a tough job keeping his place in the side with the pressure from those waiting on the sidelines."
Wrexham's Dennis Smith said: "We started strongly, but had the best first chance. After that, we never really tested them.
"The second goal killed us off, and I threw extra forwards on to try to get back, but we must accept that this was possibly a game too far.
"We looked second best, the players performed well, and I'm not going to have a go at them.
"We have a lot to play for, and we're going to have a go at it."
