"We've got to believe in miracles and I still state it will be a miracle if we stay up," Laws told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
"But if we pull it off, it will be one of the greatest achievements in the history of the football club.
"It was never on the cards, so the fact that we've kept it alive gives us the opportunity to achieve a miracle."
Laws beleives Colchester will be looking over their shoulder after the Iron's 1-0 win at MK Dons.
"They will go into the last game knowing we've still got another breath in us. We've still got everything to play for."
