Laws apologises after red mist

Laws was red carded by referee Russell Booth after coming onto the pitch following Jason Talbot's late challenge on midfielder Richie Hinds.
The referee initially didn't stop play as he was ahead of the ball, and Laws came onto the playing area - prompting Booth sending him to the stands.
Laws told BBC Radio Humberside: "I want to aplogise to the spectators and players, I saw a little bit of red mist.
"I'll probably get hit by the FA, but if they don't i'll do it msyelf. It's only fair: if I do it to the players I'll do it to. I can't defend myself for that one.
"I actually thought Hindsy had broke his leg, and what triggered it was that the ref was going to play on. I really feared the worst, i'm not supposed to encroach on the pitch but it made me feel sick.
"I have apologised to the referee, but thankfully the linesman got the decision right."
Laws' opposite number Martin Foyle was less than pleased with the actions of the Iron boss.
"I didn't appreciate their manager racing onto the pitch and winding everyone up. The referee missed what happened and the reaction of Scunthorpe was out of order," said Foyle.
"I'm not saying it wasn't a sending off because it probably was but it is not in Jason's nature to do that sort of thing. I think the ball bobbled and it was more a case of over enthusiasm.
"I was also concerned we didn't step up the pace until we were down to 10 men. We had a great win at Brentford on Saturday but we haven't followed it up and that is very disappointing."
