Mark Bodie
"My best point was today when he went, worst moment was every season of the same pathetic football except when Lillis was doing it for him. It may sound harsh but I have never enjoyed watching the Iron since he has been in charge."
Alex Summerfield
"The worst moment has to be the game with Paul Alcock in charge. The best I would definately say Tuesday, given that Laws seemed to think we scored two luck goals via deflections."
Hibbsy, a Carlisle fan
"Best moment was when he left today, worst was when he joined in 1997. I've never had a fondess for Laws I'm afraid."
James Cairns
"Best has to be Wembley. Great day out, right result, and banished the memories of the Blackpool game. It gave us the chance to learn that we needed a bit more ambition to stay up, but a great achievement anyway.
Worst is his inability to see that sometimes Torpey doesn't play well, and having a go at the fans for being frustrated by this. Never recovered from that in my eyes. Also we've wasted some quality players, we could have got so much more from Lee Hodges."
Jim Coulson, Viking FM presenter
"As an exiled Scunthorpe fan I have actually seen precious few games in the past decade or so, but apart from Wembley I remember fondly Guy Ipoua's second goal in the 2-1 win away at Burnley in the Second Division and Steve Guinan having his United tracksuit ripped off in the car park and being told to f**k off back to where he had come from.
Low points would be Tuesday evening, and those two goals for Lincoln in the first play-off semi-final last season."
Stephen Bristow, Copenhagen
"The atmosphere and game for the Swansea semi-final play-off match, and of course the Wembley win. Fans at Bolton too in the FA Cup rout, was all stirring stuff.
Worst was the one dimensional football in the second leg against Lincoln in the play-offs last season."
Ian Agnew
"My best moment watching Scunthorpe has to be the away game at Hull a couple of seasons ago, when Mark Jackson scored the winner in the dying minutes. Who didn't love Laws then!
The worst thing is not being able to watch Scunny as much as I would like over the past couple of seasons as I've moved to uni in Nottingham. Up the Iron."
Jonathan Buckley
"There have been a lot of good moments but the best has to be Wembley '99. After seven years of loyal and passionate service the way in which he was sacked from the job was the worst, with no real thought from the board of what to do next."
Mark Atter
