Following his side's 2-1 win at Doncaster on Monday, Huddersfield sit two points clear on top of League One. The Iron are two points behind, but Jackson knows that victory on Friday will send them clear of some of the chasing pack.
He said: "We are riding high at the moment, but we cannot get carried away. I won't be and the players won't be because we know there is a long way to go yet.
"We are the form team and the League leaders so people will be looking at us and we will be the team that everyone wants to beat.
"We will train hard this week ready for Friday's game against Scunthorpe United."
