Jackson doubt for Darlington game

Jackson has a groin injury, as well as an ankle knock, and Lee Ridley or James Cotterill could be elevated back into the starting lineup to replace him.

Martin Carruthers was rested on Tuesday night as United beat Rochdale 3-1, but will be recalled - he is likely to partner Paul Hayes rather than loanee Paul Dalglish as Brian Laws says that he doesn't want to play around with the team too much.

He said: "Paul Dalglish will be in the first 16, I'm not one for chopping and changing the team especially when they have played well. Paul might have to settle for a place on the bench."

The Quakers travel down the A1 to Glanford Park having being sucked into the relegation dogfight, and are two defeats from being in a relegation spot.

They lost at Boston United on Wednesday, and morale will be low - however they won't be turned over as easy as last season when they crashed 7-1 and saw Barry Conlon and Mark Ford sent off.

Iron fans will once again be allowed into the `away` end, normal terrace costs will be charged for entrance into the Caparo Stand.
