"Everything is still in our own hands," he told the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph today.
"They might have got a bit sweaty now, but we are still very confident.
"The mood in the dressing room has been very good this week.
"The players seem to be relaxed and very focused. They know what they have to do.
"We will travel to Darlington in a positive frame of mind.
"We know that if we win both our last two games of the season, then no-one can catch us."
