Scunthorpe United announced this morning that associate director Lee Collinson has announced his resignation as the role is no longer compatible with his changed business commitments.
A statement on the official website read: "The chairman and the board of directors thank Lee for all his support over recent years and know that he will remain a strong supporter of the club."
Meanwhile Eddie Nolan may be offered a short term deal at the club according to Brian Laws.
Laws is due to meet the board on Thursday to attempt thrash out a deal for Nolan, but admits it may have to be a pay as you play contract.
“Eddie has found himself in one of these positions which I would dread myself as a player,” said Laws.
“You’re a good player, you’ve done extremely well for yourself yet you find yourself at the age of 24 with no football club.
“We’ve got a board meeting on Thursday and we’ll discuss whether we can do anything because I think one of the weakest areas we have is at full back.
