The 20-year-old former Harrow Borough player had a transfer request accepted on Friday.
He only joined the Bees in January, but has impressed with five goals in 22 appearances. He is unlikely to still be playing for them next season.
He told Barnet's official website: "I've made this move to try and achieve clarity on what's happening out there.
"Everything's happened very quickly since I joined Barnet."
Barnet have rejected bids from two Championship clubs, with Scunthorpe boss Nigel Adkins admitting an interest.
Wolves and Sunderland have also been linked with the talented youngster.
