If Dawson leaves it will be a dent to our promotion hopes, but youngster Lee Ridley would provide a more than accurate replacement. It is unlikley that Andy would want to leave with the chance of promotion, and a game at Cardiff's impressive Millennium Stadum, a real possibility.
Another player linked with a move away from North Lincolnshire in recent weeks is impressive youth team captain Jamie McCombe, with Premiership outfit Tottenham Hotspur keen on him.
The six foot six inch central defender is certainly destined for greater things, but first team football at United is a more appealing prospect than youth/reserve team football under Glann Hoddle.
It doesn't seem likley that any other players are likely to move, and Iron manager Brian Laws has no potential targets or areas that need strengthening.
