The club had budgeted to receive an optimistic £200,000 from cup successes, so were substantially over budget in this respect.
Iron chairman Steve Wharton revealed the figures in his annual report to shareholders, and described it as 'satisfactory'.
He said: "The board's prudence last season ensured that we would produce a statisfactory financial performance.
"But due to increased costs, some of which should not be recurring, the profit is before depreciation and a loss of £91,467.
"This has enabled us to increase the buget for players' wages in the current season, resulting in a slghtly bigger and more experienced squad.
"Andy Crosby, Ian Baraclough and Paul Musselwhite have all been great signings. All three settled in very quickly to be part of a united and very committed squad."
