Iron head to Jersey

The Iron will head to the Channel Island on July 21, three weeks after returning to training on July 1. They will play a Jersey XI and hope to arrange a second game.

United have yet to announce their full pre-season friendly schedule, with the only confirmed games being against Grimsby Town on Saturday July 18 and Wolves on Tuesday August 4.

A game against Newcastle United has been cancelled as they will be facing the Iron in the Championship next season, while Birmingham City also backed out of a game.
