The players will now have 'Jeep' on the back of their shorts, after the club spotted a change in the sponsorship regulations.
Director Simon Elliott used his connections in the motoring industry, he is managing director of Chrysler Group, to set up the ground breaking deal.
"It's been a fantastic start to the season for Scunthorpe with the club leading the way in the league this season," he said.
"Scunthorpe is the first team - and Jeep the first brand - to take advantage of the FA's new marketing rules relating to sponsors advertising on football strips."
