Iron boss feels confident

Pundits and bookies alike are all tipping the Iron for a season of struggle, but that is something Laws and his squad relish as they look to prove them spectacularly wrong yet again.

Laws told BBC Sport: "We are not talking about just trying to survive. We will push as high as we can and I think we have genuine chances of getting towards the play-offs.

"We feel confident, we have the players to perform in a higher league and ones that are used to winning.

"League One is not as big a jump as people believe. I think there will be a fair majority of us on a level par."
