Hodges to Hartlepool?

Rochdale player-manager Paul Simpson has admitted he can't guarantee Hodges the first team football he wants so a move away from Spotland seems as though it could be on the cards.
Last week Hodges went on trial to Colchester but only stayed for one day after being unable to agree terms with the Essex outfit.
Hartlepool's new boss Mike Newell is said to be a big admirer of Hodges' talents and is keen to sign him for the Division three leaders.
Iron-Bru.net however has learnt that no approach has been made to Rochdale or Hodges about the possibility of a move, and that no other club has shown a firm interest in him.
