Hodges to Colchester?

Hodges left the Iron last summer to sign for Rochdale but the ex West Ham and Scunthorpe man has failed to make an impact at Spotland and is currently looking to secure himself a new club.
It is believed Rochdale will let Hodges leave Spotland on a free transfer if he can find himself a new club.
"He's always been a very good footballer and we tried to get him a few years ago when Steve Wignall was in charge" said Colchester boss Steve Whitton today.
"He moved to Rochdale in the summer, but hasn’t really settled up there and hasn’t been in the side. We've got him to take a look at him in training and we'll go from there if both parties get on".
