It was this abuse, he revealed after the match, which made him even more determined to make his mark on the game.
He said: "Once the fans started booing it made me just want to get the ball and do everything, but I think when I scored I kept them quiet.
"I came off the bench and I think the goal came with about my second touch or something. I can't remember exactly what happened but the ball just fell to me and I put it away.
"I went a bit mad after that and lost my head but I couldnt help it, it was just so much emotion.
"It wasnt just for me though, it was about the three points because this is a hard place to come and to get a win like that with a goal near the end against my old team, I couldn't have planned it better.
