Shareholders attended the EGM at Glanford Park, which the club called with the intention of removing Hobson as an Iron director.
Votes were taken, with one vote per share, and the majority (99.85%) voted in favour of Hobson’s expulsion from the board, bringing to an end the boxing promoter’s seven months as a Scunthorpe director.
