The 25-year-old ex-Hull City utility player has been one of the Iron's most consistent performers this season. He is enjoying life at Glanford Park and he insists the Iron, who currently sit in seventh place after Saturday's draw at Swindon, can still be up there come May.
He told the PFA's website: "I'm really enjoying it and Brian Laws has developed a great team spirit here at Glanford Park.
"The training is very enjoyable and I think people have been surprised by the quality of football we have played so far.
"It has been suggested by some that we are a 'long ball' team, but we have showed that we can play it on the deck as well."
He added: "If we can get everyone fit I don't see any reason why we can't do well this season."
