The summer signing from Stockport County suffered the injury while making a rash tackle in a friendly against Winterton Rangers, and has yet to make a competitive appearance for the club.

Brian Laws told BBC Radio Humberside: "We're delighted to see him back, he's had a big smile on his face.

"We'll still be patient with him, but hopefully he'll have a solid week in training next week and then try and get his first reserve game under his belt."
