Goodwin stays on

The Irish player had been wanted by League Two side Darlington, but has committed himself to Glanford Park for a further two years.

"He wants to have a crack at playing Championship football," United boss Nigel Adkins told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.

"He wants to stay and give it is all for this club next season."
