Goodwin out for up to ten weeks

The Irish midfielder, who joined from Stockport in June, picked up ankle ligament damage last week in his first game for the Iron - a 4-0 win over Winterton Rangers.

"Jim's going to be out for eight to 10 weeks," Laws said.

"He's strained the ligaments in his ankle and it's worse than we had expected.

"The annoying thing is he's not picked up a single injury in the last three years and then goes and does this after signing for us."
