The match had been postponed after Gills players Brent Sancho and Kelvin Jack were named in the Trinidad and Tobago squad to play Mexico.
However, the Caribbean islands' game has now been called off, meaning the League One fixture at Priestfield will go ahead at the original scheduled kick-off of 7.45pm.
But neither side will be at full strength for the clash. The Kent side will miss Andrew Crofts, who will be in the Wales squad which faces the Czech Republic, while Iron striker Andy Keogh is on Republic of Ireland Under-21 duty.
