Gerrard bid rejected

"Walsall FC can confirm a £200,000 written offer from Scunthorpe United for Anthony Gerrard has been rejected as it does not meet out valuation of a player who is attracting plenty of interest from elsewhere," read a statement on Walsall's official website.

It is beleived that Walsall want in excess of £300,000 for the cousin of Liverpool star Steven.
