Feretti goes back to Cardiff

The 19-year-old came off the bench four times for the Iron without scoring, but with the signing of Daniel McBreen dropped completely out of the first-team reckoning.

Iron manager Brian Laws said "He's gone back to Cardiff because we couldn't afford to keep five strikers on the books.

"He wasn't going to get on the bench and we need to look at the long-term players at the club."
