Featherstone leaves United

The 24-year-old left footer has struggled to establish himself in the first team at Glanford Park since arriving from Sheffield United in 2002.

Veteran Peter Beagrie was ahead of him in the pecking order, and new signing Wayne Corden has been brought in as his long-term replacement.

Featherstone made 31 League appearances for the Iron, starting 17 times.
