Fans think automatic promotion is out of the window

Another playoff campaign?

In a recent poll on Iron-Bru.net over 70% of voters thought that the playoffs were the best we could aim for this season.

The result is hardly surprising considering the inconsistent form shown by the players out on the pitch of late.

Losing to Lincoln, Exeter and Hartlepool as well as failing to beat Bristol Rovers has undone the good victories before christmas, including vital wins in `six-pointers` against Hull City and Plymouth Argyle.

Players and officials at the club have stated publically that away form must improve if we are even to make the playoffs.

In our on site poll, 12.5% of respondents thought we should aim for automatic promotion whislt 16.7% thought even the playoffs were aiming too high.
