The competition begins on Saturday August 20, when 674 sides take part in the Extra Preliminary round.
United will enter in the First Round, and will hope to continue the success which they have enjoyed in the tournament over the last few years.
Last season, United defeated Chesterfield and Wrexham on the way to a lucrative Third Round clash at Premiership champions Chelsea, where the Iron narrowly lost following an inspired performance.
