Ex-Gillingham man Bodkin comes in on trial

The 18-year-old striker has also had a spell at Nottingham Forest and manager Brian Laws thinks the player has potential.

Laws told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: "He is a young player we are going to have a look at during the pre-season programme.

"He can play either up front or out wide and comes to us highly recommended."
