An appeal can still be made for wrongful dismissal or mistaken indentity - but must be made by noon the next working day after the match.
All claims will be dealt with within four to five working days.
There is also a fresh procedure for on-field incidentes not spotted by match referees.
Charges will be issued within two working days of the match, coupled with a punishment offer which would match what the player would have received from the referee.
