Dawson approached Hull

Iron-Bru.net has been told that Dawson travelled to Hull City's KC Stadium at the beginning of last week without his agent and asked to meet Tigers chairman Adam Pearson.

Tigers boss Peter Taylor gave the Iron left-back a tour of Hull's new KC Stadium and Dawson was quick to agree to sign for the Iron's rivals across the river Humber before discussing wages.

Mansfield, Luton and Northampton had also expressed an interest in signing the player.
