Crosby out of season start

Crosby, 35, has suffered a relapse of the problem which kept him out of the finals two months of the last campaign.

He has not featured in any of United's pre-season games so far, and does not expect to be able to join in training again for a further two weeks.

That appears to rule him out of the season opener against Leeds United on Saturday August 9.
