Crosby was replaced by Cliff Byrne during Wednesday's 1-0 win at Chesterfield.

Iron manager Brian Laws is likely to reinstate New Zealand international Dave Mulligan in the starting line-up at right-back as a result, with Richard Hinds moving back into the centre of defence.

Striker Daniel McBreen will again be on the bench with Andy Keogh and Billy Sharp continuing their partnership up front.

Doncaster will be without captain Graeme Lee through suspension, after he was sent of in the draw with Bradford on Tuesday night.

Steve Roberts is set to replace him, after being ruled out of action through a calf injury.

Veteran striker Bruce Dyer is in the Rovers squad for the first time since August following injury, but Paul Heffernan and Lewis Guy are likely to keep their places up front.
