He is one of 18 players named in Brian Eastick's side to take on Iceland, Belgium and Romania in a round-robin mini-league, with the prize being a spot in the second qualifying stage ahead of next summer's finals.
The clash with Romania will take place at Glanford Park on Sunday October 14, with Doncaster and Barnsley also hosting matches
"They will be tough as it's three intense games in a short space of time," said Eastick.
"But there will also be more time to work with the players on the training ground and get the little things right."
England beat Belarus 4-0 in their last outing, a friendly at Meadow Lane where Cork - on loan with Scunthorpe from Premier League side Chelsea - playing the full game at right-back.
"We came out of the blocks quickly and played some great football, which was very pleasing," added Eastick.
