The 30-year-old joined Scunthorpe from Mansfield Town on a free transfer in February last year, but his first team opportunities have been limited.

He has only made eight starts for United, with nine appearances as a substitute.

He joined Chester on loan two months ago but struggled with an injury while there.

His last appearance in a Scunthorpe shirt came in December when the Iron lost 2-0 at Hereford United in the LDV Vans Trophy.

"Things have not worked out for him here at Scunthorpe and this is another chance to put himself in the shop window," boss Brian Laws told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.

"He is joining a club who are going well in League Two and who operate with two wingers."

Young Fulham striker Ismael Ehui will stay at the club for the rest of the season, but Laws has missed out on another target - meaning there will be nobody else coming into Glanford Park on Thursday.
