Change of away kit announced

Last updated : 10 May 2002 By Luke Thornhill
The away kit will be the same design as the current home kit, but with the different colour scheme.

In place of the white as on the home kit, will be a birght red. The arms will be a deep blue.

How we `could` look
Brian Laws think it's pleasing on the eye, although Iron-Bru.net begs to disagree and think it looks utter shite.

“The players will also stand out on the pitch which is important and hopefully our supporters will take to it," said Laws today.

“It is a totally different colour to what we've had recently, it is the first time this club has had a red shirt for a long time and now we are going to go back to it.

“We were looking for a bright colourful shirt and I think that covers it. The game is going so quick now and player's heads are looking down on the floor most of the time and it is important they get a colour that will catch the eye.

"I am sure this is a shirt that the players will be able to pick out very easily.”

For legal reasons we cannot show any pics of the shirt, but we've done a poor mock up which shows the gist of it. We couldn't be arsed with doing a proper one.
