Law said: "Cliff will be playing on the Friday but he's going to bust a gut to get to the game on Saturday.
"We may even assess him and if he feels fit I might even play him, it'll be that close because we need everybody at the moment.
"Cliff is prepared to, if he feeling fine play so that's great credit to him and it's good for the football club that we've got a player who's prepared to really put his neck on the line and play two games in two days.
Laws also confirmed that he won't be appealing against Wayne Graves' sending off, as FA rules appeals can only be made against straight red cards.
Graves will now definately be ruled out of the Iron's home clash with Swansea City on September 13.
