"There has been a buzz about the place since we beat Carlisle to set up the Leeds game," said Byrne.
"It has been at the back of the players' minds but it was important that we kept concentrating on the league and that's what we've done.
"The manager told us that we were all playing for our places in the Leeds game, and it seems to have worked because we've had a decent run in the league.
"The match is a sell-out, everyone is talking about it and I can't wait. If I'm involved it'll be the biggest game of my career."
