The match takes place on February 11th and will be played at Rugby Park, home of Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock FC.
Byrne meanwhile is still waiting for the results of a scan on his knee which took place yesterday afternoon.
If he is given the all clear then he will come back into the squad for tomorrow's league clash at Wrexham.
"For the last seven days I've done nothing, if they don't find anything serious then I will be available for selection," said Byrne.
