20-year-old Butler broke into the team at the start of the season and has been a regular in the starting lineup since.
Veteran winger Peter Beagrie came second, with on-loan Steve MacLean coming in third.
Butler will be presented with a framed sketch and a presentation bottle of Irish Whiskey in the Iron Bar after the last game of the season against Darlington on May 8.
Retiring midfielder Alex Calvo-Garcia, who was twice voted the Irish Iron player of the year, will also be given a seperate prize by the organisation.
Irish Iron celebrate their tenth anniversary next season and are hoping for a bumper membership.
II secretary Bernard Griffin told Iron-Bru.net: "All monies go to our player kit sponsorship fund, we donated almost £500 to the club last year.
"We hope to top that next season and can only dot hat with the help of fans joining us and buying our merchandise."
Membership costs 20 Euros (£13), and will also get you a membership card, pen, key ring and T-shirt.
