Iron winger Peter Beagrie will be out of action for a month after suffering a hamstring injury in Saturday's top-of-the-table clash with Macclesfield.
United drew the game 2-2, and moved to the top of the League Two table with a 2-0 win over Northampton yesterday.
Manager Brian Laws said: "He could be out for three to four weeks, it doesn't look good at the moment.
"An early tackle on Peter did the damage. Bailey came through the back of him, Peter has landed on his back and that has niggled the hamstring.
"He then stretched it during another battle with Bailey and we think he's torn the muscle."
Matty Sparrow will continue to deputise in his absence.
