Brian Laws explained "We have booked the operation, beacuse if not we might have had to wait a long time for another date".

"He is having intensive treatment from club physiopherapist Nigel Adkins to try and get him over the injury problem without the need of a surgeon".
"We will know by Friday whether an operation will be necessary or not".
"Peter managed to play against Hull last Saturday but it is a situation that cannot go on for long. He needs to be fully fit in the best interests of both himself and the club".
If it emerges Beagrie will have to go under the surgeons knife, the influential winger will be out until after the new year.
