The 39-year-old former Everton, Manchester City and Bradford star made more assists than anybody else in League Two last season, helping the Iron march towards promotion, and retirement hasn't even crossed his mind yet.
United's player-coach said: "Once the signs are there, no-one will have to push me.
"I had two seasons out and I think I've still got 80 games in lieu in my legs."
Beagrie looks set to sign a one-year contract to stay in North Lincolnshire, and battle it out with fellow winger Wayne Corden for a first team place in a fifth season at GLanford Park.
He added: "Hopefully next season I'll achieve my three aims, which were to play until I was 40, play 750 games and score 100 goals.
"I'm not far off, so one more season should take me past those."
Meanwhile Beagrie, who also featured in the PFA League Two Team of the Season, is the Iron's sole representative in FourFourTwo magazine's League Two XI.
