If he comes through it ok then he should be included in the squad to face Rochdale in a relegation six-pointer on Saturday, and the trip to Cheltenham on Easter Monday.
Nathan Stanton is expected to be ok for Saturday, while midfielder Alex Calvo-Garcia will also get another runout tonight.
*Hundreds of Iron fans will descend on Glanford Park this evening for a benefit dinner for the retiring Calvo-Garcia. The event will be held in a marquee on the training pitch, and will feature a set from The Gas Band and omedian Gary Styner.
A further benefit match will be held on Bank Holiday Monday May 3, featuring the 1999 Wembley team against an all-star XI. Juninho, Gaizka Mendieta and Jordi Cruyff have all agreed to play.
