Alfreton will be backed by over 700 fans at Glanford Park and the chairman of the side from the Blue Square North hopes that his side can spring a big upset against one of League One's best sides.
"We are looking forward to the game immensely and have been since the draw was made", he told the Alfreton official website.
"This is David and Goliath. This is a non league side going to as good a team that League One has got.
"I think nine out of 10 games everyone would expect them to beat us, let's hope this is the other one."
The visitors are at full strength for the tie and manager Nicky Law insists that his side will be well prepared.
"Obviously we are going to have to be better prepared than we normally are but the lads are up for it and we will be giving it our best shot," he added.
"We have had them watched and I have seen them myself. I have also spoken to Nigel Pearson at Leicester City and Ronnie Moore at Tranmere Rovers about them."
